I’m reading The Hobbit to my 8 and 6 year olds. We had the ‘Riddles in the Dark’ chapter last night which I thought would be beyond them, but they absolutely loved guessing the riddles!

I’m trying to find some more for them and thought there might be plenty of clever people here that know some? An example of one of the Hobbit ones is:

A box without hinges, key or lid,
Yet golden treasure inside is hid?

The answer is an egg Smile

Thanks in advance!
