Ideas for Valentine’s Day

Yes I know it’s commercialised rubbish but as there’s nothing else to look forward to at the moment I’m embracing anything to celebrate.

During lockdown 1 we went a bit crazy on home decor and bought a drinks trolley which hasn’t had much use so I’m thinking a cocktail making competition where we have to make each other a cocktail we think we’ll love.

Followed by a 3 course dinner of each of our favourite starters, mains and desserts plus one or maybe two of the leftover bottles of champagne from Christmas.

What’s everyone else planning?

Yes this is definitely my plan as well! We dressed up for Christmas Day and NYE and it felt like such a treat 😂 although it’s been leggings and hoodies only since then

I’m going to wash my hair and shave my legs

I don’t know but we’re going to do something. I’m planning to celebrate every little and big event I can while we’re all stuck indoors. Yesterday was international bagel day, we’ve got Burns night coming up, we’ve got a few birthdays, I’m going all out for all of it.

Last year I did a heart shaped afternoon tea which was lovely, got the cake stand out and everything. This year we’ll no doubt go for a walk and make a nice meal, not decided what.
