Meal kits to make indian/thai/Mexican food etc

Overseasmom100 · 16/01/2021 14:31

meal kits - what would be in the meal kit?

I think kits that you'd add your own vegetables or meat to to make a complete dish. Herbs and spices, wraps, sauce, seasonings, paste, breadcrumbs etc.

Same4Walls · 16/01/2021 14:35

Meal recipe kits to make dishes from around the world. They would include all the dry ingredients needed plus maybe sauces or spices and I'd expect to add stuff like meat.

GarytheRedNosedUnicorn · 16/01/2021 14:55

Recipe book?

TheGriffle · 16/01/2021 14:56

Ready meals/meal kit like spicery

Overseasmom100 · 16/01/2021 15:00

Stuff that you find in the World Food aisle of the supermarket. Bags of lentils, huge cans of oil, chick pea flour, sauces, packs of spices, popadoms etc.

World Food makes me think of that.

OakSun · 16/01/2021 15:06

Meal recipe kits

SlopesOff · 16/01/2021 15:06

BTW I know you also said 'Made simple', it just wouldn't draw me to look for it as a package of things because it is not what comes to mind.

Or a cookery book.

SlopesOff · 16/01/2021 15:12

There are a lot of cookery books with similar names...

AbbeyBelfast · 16/01/2021 15:12

Socks for hamsters

AaronPurr · 16/01/2021 15:16

Meal kits or a meal delivery service (such as HelloFresh)

LaMarschallin · 16/01/2021 15:21

Meal kits or appropriate spices and herbs like the Spicery.

I do love the Spicery. It's not just being able to try some things that are difficult to get in a small town, but some of their recipes have given me excellent tips and made me more confident, for example with making things like parathas or puris.

Somuddled · 16/01/2021 15:23

I'd also think meal kits but it would really annoy me. 'Made Simple' as a stand alone doesn't make sense to me. 'World food made simple' makes sense, just. But as separate sentences it would get to me. I get very irritated by marketing stuff that doesn't actually make sense so I probably wouldn't buy it. Grin

NwaNaija · 16/01/2021 15:24

World food (Different food from different countries). In a simple pack or ready meal.

Ellmau · 16/01/2021 16:07

Spicy ready meals.

EggBobbin · 16/01/2021 16:29

I kind of hate the term world good as it’s pretty ethnocentric (I imagine if it’s meal kits there won’t be a Yorkshire Pudding tutorial, for instance) but I do obv know what you mean- probably Asian/Latin American/Indian meal kits

ekidmxcl · 16/01/2021 16:30

Packs of spices
Or
Recipe cards

DifficultPifcultLemonDifficult · 16/01/2021 16:31

Ready meals.

LunaNorth · 16/01/2021 16:32

Posh pot noodles.

dontgobaconmyheart · 16/01/2021 16:50

As above really, 'world food' meal kits - Asian dishes, curries, spice packs or otherwise recipe book or subscription of similar for guides on how to make those types of dishes at home, with fewer ingredients, easily.

It's quite a ubiquitous tagline.
