All peaceful here, unlike earlier when DD12 was railing against having to do her schoolwork! It’s such a battle! If she used half the energy she used to moan & protest, she’d sail through it all! Apparently us making her do her Spanish was child slavery lol 🤣
DH is having cuddles with one of the bunnies after putting in her last lot of eye drops. I’m making cheesy chips for DD & later DH & I will have cod loins baked with pesto, cherry tomatoes, fresh basil & Parmesan shavings plus roast baby potatoes & peas. I may be having a glass of wine or 3! Looking forward to watching more of “ Married At First Sight Australia” later. Absolutely hooked on it! I thought it would be pure trash but actually it’s a fascinating experiment & you really end up caring about the couples.

DD1 is cooking; which is an unprecedented but very welcome side of her Tiktok obsession.

DH has gone out for a run.

I am having a very very nice cup of tea. You know sometimes your tea is just on the button... mmmmm.

Partner is making dinner in the kitchen, toddler is stacking shoes also in the kitchen and I'm hunting for a set of pyjamas. TV isn't on because our toddler hid the remote, our usual routine really.

I have packed my Hello Fresh deliver away in the fridge and have had two packets of Wotzits for dinner because I'm too tired to cook. I am on my second glass of wine and watching TV.

OH is on FaceTime to every member of his family...telling very rude jokes and giggling like a 3 year old...
I’m sitting next to him drinking wine and planning my fun filled day tomorrow. I’ve just bought a new Sonic scrubber and I’m planning to clean every bit of grouting in the house. Fun times!

The kids are playing some sort of game involving bubble wrap, jumping, dinosaurs and lots of pushing and shouting. I'm hiding in the kitchen until it's bedtime and I can open my prosecco.

@NeedCoffeeToSurvive i often spend ages searching for the remote after my DC have gone to bed. Once it was in the garden on the trampoline.

DS in his room playing computer games, OH in the kitchen eating, my mother having a tantrum, cat purring bedide me, me drinking peppermint tea.

Christ you people know how to live! I'm having a similarly wild time of it, reheating chill icon carne for dinner and contemplating a nice cup of tea, but only if it is as good as @pregasina 's.

DH has just made cocktails. I’ve cooked beef casserole and chips. And made salted Carmel sauce to go with left over choc panettone from Xmas. Just about to dive into it all with DD and DS whilst watching a trashy film. I have looked forward to this ALL Week!!! So ridiculously excited about it. Little things etc.

Dh and ds are playing with flashcards which is consisting of a lot of "what's this" "moo" "yes, but what animal"
I'm cuddled up on the sofa with our pup trying not to fall asleep.

Dh also on zoom call (not sure what for)
I’m just flicking through Netflix finding something to watch whilst contemplating if i ‘need’ a dessert tonight.

Kids are eating their pasta dinner.
Husband is enjoying half an hour on the X box while the kids are not using it.
I'm in the bath with a giant glass of wine after a shit week of work.
I'm going to get my pyjamas on, have my dinner and watch TV with the kids. We are all into avatar last air bender at the moment so will binge watch that.
Love Friday evenings

Ds2 is playing minecraft, i’m watching cnn (aka the season finale of America) and cuddling the dog. Ds1 is at his dad’s till after tea, we’ve found homeschooling goes a lot better if we divide and conquer.

Eating pizza after a long day at work, in school (teacher) not actually teaching but uploading a million things for home learning. DCs are watching We Can Be Heroes and munching pizza on their laps.

DH prepping dinner after rescuing SIL by fitting her a new battery on her car. I'm feeding DD14m to sleep and will then skilfully roll away to eat dinner with DH and a glass of wine. Been a hard day with DD and WFH so very welcoming to a peaceful evening, hoping to finish the film we started last night.

Dc are watching a film in the coldservatory - I was dismissed so I'm in the kitchen listening to dance tunes and scrolling mn. Bit bored tbh

Dh did burgers on the BBQ, so ds and I lit some sparklers outside. Just finished the burgers - blooming tasty!
Watching channel 4 news now.

The baby is bathed and in bed, DP is still at work so I'm sat on the sofa with a cup of tea watching Chicago Med and scrolling MN before I tackle tidying up the carpet of toys DD left behind. Also just realised I filled the dishwasher but haven't turned it on. That can wait until my tea is finished too.

Kids are happily playing a computer game together, while eating cold chicken wraps for tea, made by themselves.

I'm on the sofa bed under 4 blankets and a sleeping bag, heating on 26 degrees. I have a raging sore throat (suspect it's tonsillitis but have done a covid test and isolating just in case). Desperately waiting for the Ex-husband to possibly drop off jelly and ice cream. If he decides not to help out, I think I'll actually cry

Husband is cooking dinner, a nice steak tonight and chips done in the air fryer.

I am watching T V now but have just finished a video call with my dad. He had a small stroke just before xmas and it affected his speech, so each evening I video call him and do the speech therapy exercises the the therapist emailed to him.

DH & I have just walked DDog, and we’re now getting stuck into a bottle of Rum

DS(14) is in his flea pit of a bedroom shouting with his mates over the Xbox, and DDog is now alternating between the zoomies and snoring.

DH is haveing a semi work related zoom call with a friend - as all his work had to be cancelled, so this is good.

DD and DS are in their rooms after online school and online uni.

I am sitting here doing nothing in particular drinking a glass of water.
