How many biscuits do you think are in this box?

None, and it’s full of sewing kit instead? Or is that just those danish biscuit tins?

17!

We didn’t get any posh biscuits at Christmas so I asked DH to pick a selection box up with the shopping today.
I know manufacturers are well known for making some products appear larger than they actually are, but this is possibly the worst case I’ve ever seen.
There are probably less biscuits in there than there would be in 1 packet. It’s a big box packed out with plastic and air.
There’s only one of some varieties!

There are six types of biscuit shown and I am guessing there are four of each, so 24.

Oops - missed your update. That's rubbish. Biscuit for Foxes!

BethHarmon · 15/01/2021 19:07

Thoroughly cheated. Probably would have been better off buying a full packet of each variety but that’s not the point of course.

I'm always disappointed by these.

Every time as well, I pick one up thinking nah, it was the other brand that was like that last year...but its all of them.

I was however, pleasantly surprised by the Tesco one of Extremely Chocolately biscuits. I think I actually got 2 of each of the red and gold wrapped ones, and I think 2 of everything else! I can't quite remember because I ate them all. Plus they were absolutely covered in chocolate.

These ones

rockingaroundthemulberrybush · 15/01/2021 19:19

I recommend M&S very chocolately ones - £3 per box

BethHarmon · 15/01/2021 19:24

To be honest I’d be quite happy with a box of good old Family Circle, with a selection of regular biscuits like custard creams, hammy fidgets & bourbons.

Border biscuits variety pack are my favourites - usually £3.50 and at least 25 for that.

Not the biggest fan of variety packs, there’s always some left behind that noone will eat. I prefer a full packet of my favourite biscuits 😋

dementedpixie · 15/01/2021 20:24

Its only 275g so I wouldn't expect many

dementedpixie · 15/01/2021 20:25

Mmm hammy fidgets GrinWink

WouldstrokeTomHardy · 15/01/2021 20:29

I love hammy fidgets. We have a big box of those.

ILoveAnOwl · 15/01/2021 20:35

We got bought a tin of super fancy biscuits for Christmas and worked out we could've bought 50 packets of custard creams for the same price. I'd much have preferred the custard creams!

Figmentofimagination · 15/01/2021 20:53

Hammy fidgets are my favourite
