If your secondary age DC are using MS Classroom..
How much do you check their work? How much do they let you help them?
I have a 14YO DC with ADHD and a severe lack of concentration who kicks of massively if you try to help him, doesn't want me in his room, but is actually really clever when properly concentrating he is really struggling to do this now, and can't plan his time.
Two DCs who are in Y8 and one is happy to just get on, the other is also (undiagnosed) ADHD and he is massively struggling, and also getting frustrated and angry. I've just tried to help him in maths as he was just guessing answers as he's so fed up.
I just can't do one to one with all three, do the work I need to do, keep the house clean so we aren't in a tip, and also service my DPS who now live with us due to COvid. My DF has dementia and Parkinsons and every single day he asks me to sit with him and "show him how to use the email on his new iPad" so he can email his friends. He can't do this, and never will be able to now, he can't learn new skills and is now unlearning things he's done for 20 years (computer mouse? 'send' button, the concept of an email address). this is the tip of the iceberg - but having to plaster a patient face on and go through the emotions of 'teaching' him to email is finishing me off!! I've tried being a bit honest with him and saying 'let's get you writing in your notepad and I will type the email out' but he can't take that in now..
