@Elderflower14

People saying haitch instead of aitch... I watch the gorgeous Adil Ray on Lingo with my Mum every afternoon and almost all of the contestants say haitch!! 😡 😡
People who wast b any tv during the day.
unmarkedbythat · 15/01/2021 20:01

Mad to get offended by this thread. Plenty of people have listed things I do as things they silently judge. So what? If something I listed is something you do, don't feel the need to justify it. You shouldn't give a shit what I think. I'm a random stranger on the internet, what power does my judgement have over you?

Janegrey333 · 15/01/2021 20:01

Wish we had an Edit function.

Why so defensive about not even trying to breastfeed for a baby's first few days / weeks? I genuinely do not understand why someone wouldn't try. If you can't, don't. But not trying to give the baby colostrum when they're so very tiny and in need of its benefits... why?

Damn right.
SnoozyLou · 15/01/2021 20:02

Patents giving their baby to grandparents overnight at a very young age ie 4 weeks

A neighbour had her niece's baby from Friday night until Monday morning when she was 2 weeks old so the niece could go out.

I was Judgy McJudgerson.

Tenyearsgone · 15/01/2021 20:02

Another thread full of cunts.

@Cam77

Do you wear pyjamas to Iceland? 😂😝

SnoozyLou · 15/01/2021 20:04

*probably should add that the neighbour was a very heavy and obvious cannabis smoker and grower.

roarfeckingroarr · 15/01/2021 20:04

@Port1aCastis

Nobody gets to judge me about how I feed my children cos you ain't perfect luvvie
People who take offence when it's really not necessary and think "well you're not perfect either" is a good response.

@MintyMabel

Drive an SUV

I’m going to guess your “nailing” of this persona never includes “I’ll bet that’s and owner who did weeks of research and discovered this was the only type of car with a boot big enough to carry a wheelchair and a walking frame, with doors that open wide enough to help a child with a disability to get in by themselves.

Own a hot tub
And this will never include “I’m sure that person has an older child with a physical disability who really benefits from hydrotherapy”

Thinking 'gardening' is paving over the entire garden with slabs/astro turf
How dare people make their gardens more accessible for kids with physical disabilities.

What was that you said about judging people with no knowledge of the world @NobodyPuttsBabyinCorner?

Most people who have such dreadful items do not have a disabled child. That’s a silly attempt to score a point.

Hot tubs are revolting. They contain germ-filled “soup”.

RichardMarxisinnocent · 15/01/2021 20:04

Bad teeth
Bad teeth as in rotting teeth, or bad teeth as in wonky teeth? I have perfectly healthy teeth which are a bit wonky because NHS orthodontics when I was a teenager couldn't work miracles.

As I get older, less and less.

What's the quote? I cannot bloody remember it but it is something like "the older I get, the more willing I am to judge a man to be a good man on easier terms".

HopingForOurRainbowBaby · 15/01/2021 20:05

@Princessbanana

People who don’t clean their house, I judge the shit out of them, especially the ones that are at home all day and have nothing else to do. I just can’t wrap my head around how people can live that way.😐
Depression stops me cleaning mine! I have all on trying to go out to work each day knowing that every time I go out at the moment I'm putting myself at risk. I've pretty much just spent the last 3 days in bed sleeping and only just managed to tidy my kitchen up a little bit today.
SendHelp30 · 15/01/2021 20:06

Rotting teeth that clearly don’t get brushed.
Wonky teeth can’t be helped. No excuse for not cleaning teeth

SnoozyLou · 15/01/2021 20:06

Another thread full of cunts.

I also silently judge overuse of the word cunt. It really dilutes the impact when people use it all the time.

MarthasGinYard · 15/01/2021 20:06

Posters who have never danced in a bat wing nightie to Kate Bush....

MajesticWhine · 15/01/2021 20:06

*Holiday kids clubs, particularly parents that use them every day, whilst all the other children are having fun in the pool and on the beach with their families. It makes me feel very sad and upset for them.

Holidays should be remembered by children for being fun, feeling loved and the happiest of times not spent with strangers that have not been vetted properly.*
Blimey! You obviously don't work. What do you suggest parents that work actually do with their children in the long and many school holidays?
Also, holiday clubs are subject to all sorts of verified standards.All workers will havean enhanced DBS check.

MoveAsideCherry · 15/01/2021 20:07

@MarthasGinYard so you judge if the child looks 5? You can't tell ages though, some 3 year olds looks big/tall for their age for example. Also the interior of the trolley isnt exactly plush and it is metal and hardwearing so no need to worry about the giant multibillion pound corporations trolleys. I really don't undersand that stance as what is the child doing in there to make it so dirty aswell and if anything the trolley is a health and safely hazard for the child. I honestly think parents are damned if they do and damned if they don't. Children aren't meant to get in people's way or have people almost walk into them amd knock them over when they are so small but cannot sit in the trolley either. Have you got kids? Have you ever been in the situation where you've had to take babies and toddlers to the supermarket for what ever reason?

MAK93 · 15/01/2021 20:07

@Tenyearsgone

Come on, this is about silently judging people, do not pretend like you don’t?

Can I add to mine?

People who pretend they don’t judge others, get off your high horses 🤣

My Mums would be people using the word cunt, she hates it!

Janegrey333 · 15/01/2021 20:08

@noblegreenk

Long garish painted nails
The threads on Mumsnet entitled “ Show me your nails.” or “ Show us your rings.” always make me cringe. The hands are often chubby, the nails are tacky and the rings are too flashy.
RenegadeMrs · 15/01/2021 20:08
  • Families with two adults and young children doing the food shop together. And I thought this before the pandemic. Why would you not divide and conquer? Supermarkets are either boring or horrible, why bring everyone out for a trip and clutter up the place with yet more people? Just don't get it.
  • People who have 3 or more marriages (excluding widows/widowers). At some point why don't you think that maybe this tradition just isn't working for you? Note: not advocating staying in miserable relationships, just querying multiple marriages.
  • Teachers , especially early years and infants, who are in complete denial that these is any element of childcare to their jobs. Yes you are educators, and yes, I respect that and trust you do do a far better job of it than I can, but my children being in school does enable me to work so let's acknowledge that reality.
  • Myself for posting on this thread.

Also, lol at the university of life one. If the person is pissing me off enough I say 'yes well we've all been there' as archly as I can manage.
