I've got into listening to audio books while working at home and have borrow box which is free but a bit limited. What gems are on there? I like interesting books, Sci fi or a good autobiography (just have listened to noughts and crosses and Robert webbs autobiography). Thank you.

You should sign up to your local library online - I've signed up to a few now and they all have loads of audio books online.

If it's the same as round here Borrow Box is the free library online service. I'm into a different genre than you Op so can't help on that side, but my advice is to log in on the website rather than the app as it's so much easier to search what's on there.

Thanks, it's the library one and all I can find is crime fiction or lighter reads about women opening cupcake shops. Also plenty of stories sent in Liverpool that my mother in law loves. Any other suggestion would be good, it doesn't seem to have any of the top 100 books on lists that I've found.

Just an FYI I found a couple of recipe books on mine. Does each library/local authority have its own ‘library’ does anyone know? I can’t find Book of Dust 1 on mine but Book of Dust 2 is there.

Margaret Atwood maybe or something read by Stephen Fry?

Our BorrowBox is really good. I liked the Testaments audio wise as it had aunt Lydia reading aunt Lydia. I also liked listening to Becoming by Michelle Obama, and I've currently got Where the Crawdads .... can't remember the last word Grin

The best I've listened to have been the Ruby Wax mental health books
and Harry Potter narrated by Stephen Fry.
