Do you have a lockdown hobby?
For me it's podcasts and audiobooks.

I took up pottering and planting things last lockdown.

I thought it might be a bit 'one year wonder' but I’ve already sown some seeds this year and I’m constantly on the gardeners world website Grin

I discovered Mumsnet (because I got pregnant)
Not sure if it's a good or bad thing!

I took up crochet & cracked it, after many failed attempts.

I now have several projects lined up to keep me busy!

LawnFever · 15/01/2021 07:58

I haven’t started anything brand new but I’ve been reading, knitting, crocheting & sewing more.

In the first lockdown I did loads in the garden but it’s too miserable out there to do that now

Yay, it’s so addictive once you start isn’t it!

I joined a choir. We all sing on zoom. So much fun.

I got a peloton in December. I’ve never really liked exercise as I’m so self conscious on how I look and how unfit I am. I’ve used it every day so far in Jan (one of the challenges) and am loving it, well most days, I didn’t love it yesterday!!

My 7yo, in all seriousness, told her Grandmother i like to relax by tidying up after her and her sister.

If anything, my hobby I hiding from the children for a bit!

Theneverendingcleaningcycle · 15/01/2021 08:12

Eating. I've got pretty good at it too. Grin
I've rediscovered reading.

Piccalino3 · 15/01/2021 08:12

I took up making macarons and decorated sugar cookies. I figured I was in the kitchen anyway... it's a good way to hide from the kids (when my husband is around) but a bit more tricky now I'm dieting to reduce the effects of it all!

Wine Confused

In all seriousness, I’ve really enjoyed my daily walk and exploring the local area.

Seeline · 15/01/2021 08:19

I learnt cross stitch during the first lockdown. Made Christmas cards using cross stitch in November lockdown. I've now started some basic embroidery kits I was given for Christmas. I think I prefer cross stitch at the moment though.

NotPaloma · 15/01/2021 08:24

Crocheting here too! Am spending a bloody fortune on wool.

lucysmam · 15/01/2021 09:19

LawnFever it is! I picked up a parcel of yarn yesterday morning on my way home from work & opened it wondering what else I should have bought with it Grin

Snog · 15/01/2021 11:44

I have learned macrame
