Buying and selling a car

Going to see a second hand car tomorrow and have 2 people coming to view mine.

Not looking to be ripped off, what should I be aware of? Cash purchase but should I insist on bank transfer instead?

And on selling mine what should I look out for?

never bought a second hand car but for selling check you wouldn't get more on motorway.co.uk . it gives decent base value compared to other places ..I actually got more for mine on there than I could get private last year :/
