I saw it advertised on prime or Netflix! It’s based on a novel. It’s about a couple who adopt a Chinese little girl but she has been taken from her mum. A friend turns up to her birthday party, she’s done the cake or catering and she realises it’s her friends baby that was taken. I think I can remember the mum bursting into the house to get her daughter back. Anyone recognise it and is it good? Tia

It's based on a book which is (in my opinion) much better than the series

Yes the actress cast in the role of the artist Mother was awful... so unlikeable.. cold.. nasty.. and I could not gel with the character...

phenomenal series though.. great writing 🌺
