Since I have to use it so often I want it to smell gorgeous! DH brought some home from work which smells so vile I can’t use it. Please recommend the nicest one you’ve found.

I don't know what it is, but the one they use in our M&S smells gorgeous and doesn't feel remotely sticky. If anyone knows what it is, I'm very interested!

PolkadotsAndMoonbeams · 14/01/2021 17:37

I was going to say the one M&S had around Christmas! We thought it was a ruse to get you to buy more Christmas things. Grin

Pipperleen · 14/01/2021 17:37

The Carex aloe vera one is surprisingly nice. Not sticky either.

Molten brown rhubarb and rose!

L'occitane verveine. Nice and fresh, non-sticky and you can eat your butty afterwards without feeling sick.

Aesop Resurrection rinse-free hand wash. It’s pricey but a little goes a long way and it smells divine.

Couchto5ktowine · 14/01/2021 18:07

Agree on Aesop. Also take a look at Purdy & Figg (especially citrus): lovely smell, a spray rather than a gel and no sticky residue. It’s ace.

Sparklingbrook · 14/01/2021 18:09

I wish I could get hold of that M&S one. The one they have (or had) on the doors before Christmas. It doesn't seem to be any of the ones they sell. Sad

Muddledupme · 14/01/2021 18:11

The body shop coconut is lovely

allmycats · 14/01/2021 18:16

I asked M and S if they sold the one they had at the door before Christmas and they said no.

Sniv · 14/01/2021 18:18

Less upmarket than a lot of these suggestions, but Superdrug has a range of 'So...? Sorry not sorry' spray hand sanitisers and the fake watermelon scent of the 'Clean Freak' one is mouthwatering.

stayingaliveisawayoflife · 14/01/2021 18:21

There is a company called palm safe that do some really nice smells once the alcohol smell has gone. Their coconut one is lovely. I loved their Christmas ones jingle berries and candy cane.

They missed a trick there! DH used some and I thought I could smell after shave it was sooo nice.

Fatface do a nice one!

cherrypie790 · 14/01/2021 18:28

I've got This Works, and it's gorgeous. Leaves your hands all soft, and it's a very natural oils smell.

H1978 · 14/01/2021 18:29

I recently got the sanctuary spa one, best one I’ve smelt and I’ve tried a few 😳

hilariousnamehere · 14/01/2021 18:30

Enliven - got it in homebase and it's cucumbery and non-sticky!

LateToTheParty · 14/01/2021 18:31

Mia Tui sell this one - full size and handbag size and it smells gorgeous

It a bit pricey (£16.50) but L'occitane's Verberna hand sanitizer smells lush

BigSkyLife · 14/01/2021 18:41

Yes, that M&S one was gorgeous.
I’ve treated myself to The White Company Seychelles one... it smells amazing!

QueenOfTheDoubleWide · 14/01/2021 18:44

Aesop is always lovely but I also got ESPA bergamot and jasmine no rinse hand cleanser for Christmas and that is very pleasant too

PickAChew · 14/01/2021 18:52

The M&S one is disgusting and gives me a splitting headache. I'd rather my hands smelt of nothing.

Findahouse21 · 14/01/2021 18:53

Body shop lemon one is lovely but the mango is even nicer. It so keen on the coconut
