Shit week. How to make it better?

I have had a really, really shit week. I feel sick, anxious and utterly defeated. I need to get rid of the gnawing feeling at the pit of my stomach but I don't know how. Any suggestions?
The circumstances that have occurred are mainly solvable but getting to those solutions is exhausting and soul destroying. I just want to not have all the responsibility for all things and run away but I can't.

I have found this week really hard too, I just breathe take hot baths , try and do more self-care stuff and remind myself that this too shall pass...

What normally replenishes you? I find books and music helpful. Ambient or choral music in particular. Soaks in the bath and pampering. Sleep. Mindless telly.

No help here but I'm having a carp week to, made worse by me thinking it was Friday and then a colleague saying we could catch up tomorrow and I said no way it's Saturday- for her very nicely to tell me it wasn't 😕

Can you give yourself a day, or at least a night off?

Tell yourself - out loud or in writing if you need to - that x, y and z are important and need dealing with but first you need to recover a bit. You're not running away, you're not ignoring the problem, you're giving yourself the energy to handle it. Plan it out so you're not left at a loss to find something to do with yourself that isn't fretting. As pp said, think about what will distract, refresh you and make you feel you've had a break. And keep telling yourself it is important that you do this, and you 100% deserve it.

I tried to cure my shit week by eating a Lindt bear, now I feel sick Hmm.

I will have a bit of dinner, a hot herbal tea and my favourite calming book at bedtime though. These days that's the same time as my 9 and 11yo.

Thank you. I went for a walk with dh, had a beer and mopped the floors. Life doesn't feel quite so bad. We'll get through it. Just don't really have the capacity to deal with but will have to.

I just found a worm crawling out of my 6 yr olds butt. How's that for fun.
