Could you recommend good reasonable online shops to buy indoor plants please? Cheers!

Depends what plants you're after, Cowells is good, Facebook groups are best for a lot of plants

Crocus, Root Houseplants, Beards & Daisies, and Patch Plants are my go-tos, especially as they sometimes have decent offers on.

I really like bothbloombox and leaf envy - I’ve been ever so impressed with the plants I’ve received. Bigger than I was expecting and really healthy.

PeaceLoveAndCandy · 14/01/2021 14:03

Thank you all, I'll take a look. I am mostly interested in indoor plants that don't require a lot of looking after, like cheeseplant and aloe vera.

Patch plants have an unkillable selection! I’ve started with those to get my confidence and have started buying a few more recently that need a bit more looking after!

I recently bought some indoor plants and pots from Hortology; excellent service (courier broke a pot due to carelessness and they replaced no questions asked) and good quality plants.

MilkshakeandFries · 14/01/2021 15:04

Patch plants are brilliant.

usernotfound0000 · 14/01/2021 15:07

@tootiredtobecreative I have purchased plants from the unkillable section, I have still managed to kill them! I think plastic is the way forward for me!

TooTiredToBeCreative · 14/01/2021 16:48

Oh dear user! Mine are doing ok so far! I think the trick with the unkillables is not to over water!

viatheapp · 14/01/2021 16:56

Wouldn't recommend beards and daisies, they don't answer queries afterwards and my plant is on it's last legs! I admit I'm no Alan titchmarsh but I've been following the instructions.

Overoptimistix · 14/01/2021 17:15

I've ordered a few from The Little Botanical recently. Some as gifts and some for me but I have been impressed. They are well wrapped and have good guides about care and which room they are suitable for. I only chose low maintenance ones! The pots are very pretty too.

Toodeloo · 14/01/2021 17:25

Patch Plants all the way!

Bananajam · 14/01/2021 21:24

Flutterbygarden on Facebook is great, delivery is a bit slow but she's just one woman on her own. The plants I've had are fab! Don't overwater, especially during winter and they'll be fine. People generally kill houseplants with kindness, treat em mean they'll thrive!

PeaceLoveAndCandy · 15/01/2021 10:37

Wow plants are expensive once you add a suitable planter!! Beautiful though...

I've had some very nice stuff from Gardener's Dream delivered lately. Mahlakas specialise in succulents and are very good for the slightly more out-of-the-ordinary stuff.

Fairyliz · 15/01/2021 10:50

I know you have asked for online suppliers, but just for future reference when we get past Covid, Wilko do some fabulous plants.

I have bought several for £5/£6 which includes a ceramic pot. A year later they are all growing well and look strong and healthy.

Rainallnight · 15/01/2021 10:51

Great thread, OP, I’ve been looking for the same!

PeaceLoveAndCandy · 15/01/2021 11:00

I really love Patch. I'm wondering if there are any discount codes around...
