I'm looking for a present for nephew
He isn't into much. I bought him vodka shots for Christmas and they went down well
Likes being fashionable and drinking. Games a bit but not loads, likes football
Clothes or alcohol is my best bet if I can find the right brand

My ds is here with me now and I’ve just asked him, he’s 18 in 6 weeks.

Casual or designer?

He said for casual it’s Nike and Under Armour every time. Mid range is Alessandro Zavetti ( he gets his from Foot Asylum ) and a nice casual brand is Pre’ London and not expensive, also available in FA. Lastly he said you can’t go wrong with North Face.

For special occasions he likes Ralph Lauren, Hugo Boss and Armani. For those who aren’t into names he said River Island is nice. He has a huge group of friends and is really into his clothes. They all wear similar and not the full black look that loads of teens wear.

Hope that helps.

I think he likes designer stuff
What colours are they wearing if not black?

17 yo son. Nike, Hugo boss, polo Ralph Lauren.... grey, black and navy is really popular. Sometimes navy or dark green. If he goes walking north face gloves that you can use with a phone?

My son is 17 and works part time in a men's independent clothing shop. Ralph Lauren, Fred Perry, Diesel, Levi's seem popular.

Vivenne · 14/01/2021 00:21

Versace, armarni, adidas, nike trainers. Maybe get him some aftershave?

Bearnecessity · 14/01/2021 04:38

Huf, Stussy, Obey, Carhartt and Viv Westwood over here...

OnlyFoolsnMothers · 14/01/2021 04:42

I’d say it’s safest to stick with navy or khaki in terms of colour

Assuming you know the football team he follows, look at their souvenir shop and what they offer.

gannett · 14/01/2021 08:30

Supreme or Off White

OohKittens · 14/01/2021 08:34

Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren, cp company, pretty green, hugo boss, levis, lacoste.

frustrationcentral · 14/01/2021 08:39

My 17 year DS wears Armani, Boss, Tommy Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren and has a few staples like Nike sweatshirts/hoodies

Luckily we live near a few designer outlets, otherwise he wouldn't be wearing all of those brands!

frustrationcentral · 14/01/2021 08:41

Forgot to add - colour wise he only really wears black, grey and white. Handy for washing 🤷🏼‍♀️😂

Oh and he also like Bape?!

frustrationcentral · 14/01/2021 08:42

Oh and north face!

TheHobbitMum · 14/01/2021 08:44

My 18yr DS wears Hugo Boss & Hilfiger for designer and I buy next/levis for jeans and plain tshirts.

flamingo40 · 14/01/2021 08:47

I have an 18 year old.... Fred Perry, champion, Nike, Levi's.
His wardrobe consists of white black and grey!
Check out some outlet sites they have great sales. Also terraces, ASOS, brotherandbrother, mandmdirect

I find them more fussy than teen girls

daisydaisypoison · 14/01/2021 10:26

Plain and understated is my advice OP.. no huge logos of any description! If its designer those who know will know!! says my next door neighbours son who is 19 and just helping me get the bins in!!!!oh and Paul Smith!!! who ever he is!!!

flamingo40 · 14/01/2021 12:46

Definitely understated.... small logos

Tommy jeans/hilfiger is another like
