Pre kids DH and I always got into bed super early on dark winter nights and just chilled watching boxsets.

Now the earliest we could possibly get to bed is 9pm when the eldest goes or else we would be up every 2 mins finding something, getting snacks or breaking up fights.

We have snow forecast tomorrow I am seriously considering stopping in bed all day and working from there

I do this every night after dinner.
I have a large living room that takes forever to warm up after work, so I eat, make a hot water bottle and pop the radiator on in my bedroom. I spend the evening in bed wayching box sets and surfing the net. Bliss really, with my cats popping in and out.

I love getting in to bed early. Fuck all else to do at the moment anyway.

I was on bed rest for 2 weeks last year after an operation and I loved it DH brought my meals to me in bed on a tray. I snoozed and watched films for 2 weeks straight. It was almost worth the operation and pain.
