When I qualified my boss got me a card with a picture of a mushroom on it. It said

"Congratulations you are no longer a mushroom"

And inside it said
"No more being kept in the dark and fed on shit".

I am unable to find anything quite so epic and wondered if mumsnet has any semi-professional card-browsers in our ranks....

I like the legally blonde one but it's not quite appropriate given our relationship. some of the humour is a bit not-quite-what-I-want - sort of critical even though it is supposed to be congratulations.

might have to go for a more general "you did it!" card.

You'd think there'd be something a bit more about being "fully fledged" with a pic of a bird or summat like that....
