Wasn’t sure where to post this, but hope it’s ok to ask about some new furniture.
I’m going to add, unfortunately I have health anxiety and google hasn’t helped me 
Bought new bedroom furniture (Amazon). Fixed, put into place, has a pungent smell (I understand furniture needs to ‘off has’), but is there anything I can do to help speed the process? Have kept window open during the day.
Secondly, it’s a white piece, but whilst fixing up a lot of white residue came off. I’ve wiped it multiple times now, to try and get rid of this residue (mostly on the underside of table), but wondering if anyone knows what it could be and to tell me it isn’t toxic and lethal
