Returning clothing to M&S Food store?

Hi, is this possible does anyone know?
Purchased a sale item in big city centre store on 29/12 and just noticed receipt says last date is today for returns of sale stock. 😲

I can't get back there but have a Food store I can get to. Will they be able to accept it? Or have their sale items returns been extended? 🤔

Yes, you can return to a food store
I returned a pair of jeans last week, along with the invoice and have just been refunded You also get tracking information which is reassuring

At ours you can only return items bought online.

At ours you can usually only return items bought online , they may have relaxed the rules at present though .

DH exchanged his Christmas present at a big M&S that had only the foodhall open. I'd previously contacted the particular store via Facebook messenger who said to bring the item in and they would exchange. It was straightforward. A member of staff fetched the exchange item. Very smooth.
