Help me get a full night's sleep!

I haven't slept during the night for years. I might wake for an hour once or twice in the night. I do suffer from anxiety, although off meds now a couple of years, but when I do wake at night the anxiety is heightened. I think my body has got so used to wakening up! I'm trying breathing exercises at the moment but I know this might take a while. Any tips gratefully recieved!

I've had dreadful sleep issues in the past but have pretty much nailed it now. I exercise a lot and get lots of fresh air during the day, avoid alcohol and haven't touched caffeine since 2012. I also settle better reading than watching TV for the last hour. I know they're the simple, obvious things but they really do work. Good luck x
