I want to cook a large pork joint in the slow cooker tomorrow.

Can anyone recommend what I can put in with it or how to do it please?

Cider or apple juice, onions, then add mushrooms and cream for last hour or so. I usually add a jar of hm apple jelly.

I would cook the pork with chicken stock, garlic, bay leaves, sage, orange rind, cinnamon stick, coriander seeds,
Oregano. Serve with mini wraps, salsas, picked onions, avocado, maybe sour cream. Basically do this www.telegraph.co.uk/recipes/0/gizzi-erskines-carnitas-with-pineapple-salsa-and-pickled-onions/

This is lovely. Don't be shy with the seasoning, feel free to double up on the herbs and garlic.

I cook large pork joints in the slow cooker regularly. I never add any liquid , only herbs and seasoning and it is always amazing. If doing it for pulled pork I use smoked paprika and a pinch of chilli flakes and then add Tiptree bbq sauce once it's cooked and pulled.
