And I'm trying to decide if it would be better for me to try to work from home at her house, or to organise carers. She is completely fine, mentally and physically, but lives alone.

WWYD?

It might sound stupid but she's always seemed invincible. She fell while on her daily walk.

Honestly I would avoid having a stream of carers. They're often very good and experienced BUT they're going in and out of many houses and that is a risk factor for covid. If you're able to adequately work and care (toileting if required, food, etc) then consider that.

We have been so incredibly careful - we did Christmas over Zoom. I don't know how working in her house will be, but I'll have to find out once she's out of hospital. Thank you for replying.
