How long after bad teething stroke to teeth cut?

This is my 3rd baby so I should know this! My other two never had a single teething symptom between them though. With both of them, I just noticed their first teeth poking through one day. We got off so lightly .

But not with this one.

She's 20 week and has been drooling, biting, etc for about 5 weeks. Past ten days her gums are bright red and swollen, they are driving her bonkers. Red cheeks, drooling more. She's got reflux so calpol is hit and miss - even getting it in drop by drop, if it makes her cough she will vomit.

Gel works for as long as it works (not long).

How long have I got the poor thing miserable like this for?
