baking burgers after they've already been cooked

do you cook your burgers in the oven after they've already been fried?

my mum made burgers for dinner tonight and already cooked them through in the pan and then baked them for 20 mins afterward in the oven to make sure they were fully cooked.

I might do that but just to brown them. Then finish in oven. Not twice cook. They be cardboard.

I always find it hard not to overly brown a burger in a frying pan probably impatient

A proper homemade burger I'd leave nice and pink inside. 😀

If they are made properly from scratch from proper good quality steak they definitely can be.

Random bought from super market. I wouldn't.

Gourmet burger kitchen used to allow a pink burger. Probably changed now.
