MLM's Pandemic Paradise Playground

Corr, this really is paradise for the MLM, isn't it? I've had four invitations to FB groups in the last 24 hours! Seemingly normal people being assimilated. Preying on job losses and the whiff of desperation.
I deleted one invitation and they re-sent it an hour later.
God, they are horrid enterprises, aren't they?

'PM me hun for great opportunities to earn £££'

MLM is just another term for a cult. The way they prey on people and suck them in is shocking, they need to be regulated so vulnerable people are not conned.

I agree. Especially now when people are desperate.
I can already see my friend's language changing on Facebook even on her normal posts (I'm not in her BS group)

Let me guess. At least one motivational quote, another asking "what's your favourite ", another "ask me how I do it" quote then my personal favourite, the fake it til you make it lie about how much they've earned, all whilst sitting at home looking after their kids.

Oh, yes. The quotes. The superlatives. The ridiculous "pamper evening" on Zoom with a glass of fizz...

Level headed people, too.
