Always particularly saddening to learn that a fine mind has become clouded by Alzheimer's at the end of life. I hope her end was peaceful. She was a marvellous columnist and excellent value as a talking head on the radio. I still have Cooking in a Bedsitter on my cookbook shelves. Loved that book. RIP.
