Best non essential buys of 2020

If you had to send back all but 3 of the non essentials that you bought last year what would you keep?

For me:
Roomba robot vacuum cleaner
Merrell hiking trainers (so much more comfy and waterproof than my old ones)
This dressing gown from Reserved (perfect level of cosiness). Currently on sale in XL

Chest of drawers
Seasalt boots and coat (counting these as one, as they work better together)

Dishwasher - I love it and now I am going to get another one when I get a new kitchen so I can have two.

Jules Welly Boots, the school field has turned into a bog so I wear them every day.

Trespass waterproof jacket, I wear it all the time and it looks nice and is practical, I didn't think such a thing existed.

Some giant knickers from marks I read about in here - my god the comfort abs no lines!!

Apple Watch - dp offered it for Xmas god i love it. Like having a tiny friend.

Sho flasks for all the family. Chilys and other brands are much the same - you get the idea - they have changed beach picnics etc a lot - an always cold drink on a hot day is fab.

Wait wait this - Himalayan salt lamp I love it

A summer house
Lots of seeds to grow
Beer

A camera - Sony RX10 IV... brilliant bit of kit.
A heated gilet...has transformed standing around in the freezing cold with above camera.
Agile parcourts wellies.

Wetsuit
Goggles
Light puffa jacket

Milk frother
DM boots
Down coat (if I got locked out and had to sleep outside for the night I wouldn't be worried)
Smart plug - to turn my electric blanket on for me coming home from work.

Ninja Foodi, I bought it just after Christmas and have used it every day.

Signed up for a couple of online Conqueror challenges to inspire me to walk and use my exercise bike more.

I just ordered one on Amazon squirrel. It’s like velvet on one side and fluffy on the other

I bought one of these from a local shop £60, having read they aid peaceful sleep.

Son loves it and has said it helps.
I think I read the recommendation on here.

8kg was the weight.
After years of sleeping well he was waking up at 3am.
He likes it.

These walking boots I got in October and they have to been the best thing I bought for a long time! They have been comfy from the get go and have kept the water out.

An Oodie - don’t need to put the heating on, just Chuck on the oodie.

6 chickens - having our own eggs has been amazing!!

Inflatable kayaks and an SUP. The river saved 2020 for me and the kids.

Loving the number of outdoorsy things on this thread. Nice change from usual lists of beauty product and expensive but impractical clothing

Yes! They are so warm and cosy looking, like a little personal fire sitting by my side!

OMG! How did I forget my car 😳🤦🏻‍♀️ Think it's because I'm not out and about in it as much as I usually am 🤷🏻‍♀️

Although I count that as an essential purchase. Other essential purchases we had to make last year included replacements for our rice cooker and our printer.
