If you had to send back all but 3 of the non essentials that you bought last year what would you keep?

For me:
Roomba robot vacuum cleaner
Merrell hiking trainers (so much more comfy and waterproof than my old ones)
This dressing gown from Reserved (perfect level of cosiness). Currently on sale in XL

Sewing machine
Chest of drawers
Seasalt boots and coat (counting these as one, as they work better together)

Dishwasher - I love it and now I am going to get another one when I get a new kitchen so I can have two.

Jules Welly Boots, the school field has turned into a bog so I wear them every day.

Trespass waterproof jacket, I wear it all the time and it looks nice and is practical, I didn't think such a thing existed.

Some giant knickers from marks I read about in here - my god the comfort abs no lines!!

Apple Watch - dp offered it for Xmas god i love it. Like having a tiny friend.

Gertie75 · 10/01/2021 19:39

Ninja Foodi, I bought it just after Christmas and have used it every day.

Signed up for a couple of online Conqueror challenges to inspire me to walk and use my exercise bike more.

Anotherlovelybitofsquirrel · 10/01/2021 19:58

@dementedma can I please ask which heated throw you bought?

dementedma · 10/01/2021 19:59

I just ordered one on Amazon squirrel. It’s like velvet on one side and fluffy on the other

Anotherlovelybitofsquirrel · 10/01/2021 20:01

@dementedma thank you... off to browse. This was a mistake. I now want a lot of stuff I don't need 😂

Flupibass · 10/01/2021 20:01

Liv bike
Cashmere jumper

Just love them all
@Rainbowandscarlett can you tell me more about your weighted blanket please?
Why did you get one and how did you decide which weight to get?
I bought one of these from a local shop £60, having read they aid peaceful sleep.

Son loves it and has said it helps.
I think I read the recommendation on here.

8kg was the weight.
After years of sleeping well he was waking up at 3am.
He likes it.

These walking boots I got in October and they have to been the best thing I bought for a long time! They have been comfy from the get go and have kept the water out.

An Oodie - don’t need to put the heating on, just Chuck on the oodie.

6 chickens - having our own eggs has been amazing!!

Hotcuppatea · 10/01/2021 20:13

Inflatable kayaks and an SUP. The river saved 2020 for me and the kids.

Mortified2468 · 10/01/2021 20:15

Nintendo switch
Weighted blanket
Audible

PurpleDandelions · 10/01/2021 20:44

Loving the number of outdoorsy things on this thread. Nice change from usual lists of beauty product and expensive but impractical clothing Smile

OMG! How did I forget my car 😳🤦🏻‍♀️ Think it's because I'm not out and about in it as much as I usually am 🤷🏻‍♀️

Although I count that as an essential purchase. Other essential purchases we had to make last year included replacements for our rice cooker and our printer.
