Nhs specialist physio told me to download the squeezy app. Set it for 4 x a day for 5 second holds, with 2 second rests. Make sure to squeeze anus, not just ‘as if you are stopping urine’. Life changing in just 4 weeks for £2.99. Worth a try before spending over £160?

How many repeats do you need to do 4 times per day? Thinking I could just set my alarm to do them!

Physio said to start at 5 repeats. Once you do those the app automatically then does a series of 10 quick squeeze & releases too.

You could set your alarm but the app reminds you if you’re overdue whereas you could always turn an alarm off if you are busy so forget to do them so I think it’s well worth the £2.99 personally, and I never pay for any apps generally.

I use both the Squeezy app but also the elvie. I think it’s easy to use the wrong muscles with just the Squeezy and the elvie taught me to use the correct ones. I took my elvie along to an NHS womans physio appointment and used it while I was being monitored and she said I used more of the correct muscles with the elvie and when I used the Squeezy I was engaging my tummy muscles more. It’s a lot of pay I know but well worth it
