Extra treats for kids during lockdown?

I realise Christmas has just done but due to lockdown & school closures have you treated the kids to anything to cheer them & you up?

I've bought them a new Nintendo Switch game for doing well adapting to the home schooling again this week.

Any other ideas?

Not sure what age they are but
They get to pick their favourite dinner.
Movie night with treats (popcorn, sweets, whatever)
They get to choose a family activity, board game, craft, cooking, lounge sleepover.
Magazine/comic or subscription if you are feeling particularly generous.
Later bedtime

Yes, all bets are off basically, it's costing me an arm and a leg everytime she's at home!

I do little small things, like in tomorrow’s online shop I’ve added a small key ring each, they’re young so that’ll keep them happy. I’ll maybe order a bigger treat from Amazon or Argos next week, nothing expensive maybe a puzzle each or a Lego set. Next week I’ll add bath bombs to my online shop, so I go cheap but novel.
I also bought shitloads of coloured paper and pens etc to keep them happy and crafting on top of the usual white paper.
We also do a movie afternoon a week with popcorn, chocolate, Pringles, they love their little bowl of snacks.
It ends up costing me a lot. The first lockdown I ended up buying a sandpit and loads of games and books.

We are having more celebrations of different festivals. Tomorrow is Word Nerd day apparently. We obviously don't celebrate all of them but if someone is feeling a little glum we look at the calendar of events and start to plan a few small things for one of the days. Nothing too extravagant, some of the fun of it is in the planning and deciding what to do. Any ideas for National Rubber Ducky day next week?

Dh doesn't believe in buying the kids expensive things for no reason but he bought them both a switch lite and animal crossing last year in March

I have bought some learning resources. So they can use them while at home doing there work.

We're still making our way through the Christmas chocolate so I'm being quite lenient with that! Otherwise not really, I did treat them a lot in the first lockdown though. But we have Christmas toys that they still haven't played with and birthdays coming up soon.

We do have living room sleepovers at the weekend with popcorn and a film and they can stay up as late as they want. I love those nights too, I sleep downstairs with them.

And youngest DD has a sticker chart for behaviour and if she gets enough stickers she will get an LOL OMG doll - bribery works well with her

We are also treating them to the odd extra Xbox game /board game just to keep a bit of variety in their lives

Oh and they really enjoy the live outschool classes so get to pick one a week about whatever they would like to learn about /chat about.

What a fabulous idea!!

Maybe find a little stream or similar and race the ducks on it?

Watching! Ours are having a “sleepover” tomorrow (special treat as they are not great sleepers!)

But need some ideas for home school bribery. Ideally not sweet or plastic based... got plenty of both already.

I love the ideas of choosing dinner, celebrating misc festivals, bath bombs and choosing a game to play together.

Having a few fun things up your sleeve is always good.
Having a fire outside, make some popcorn, look up some other camp cooking things.
Have some times for games - we're doing a Taskmaster thing with friends, on a zoom call.
Lots of ideas for zoom games online if you want to have a games night with people you don't live with
Online escape rooms
Make some treats for someone else - bird feeders perhaps
Get some new items for bedrooms to make them cosy
Start a scrap book or photobook about the new or different things you've been doing
