I need some new slippers. I know know, hold on to your hats!

I am hoping some of you vipers got slippers for Christmas and I can get some top recommendations please.

I’d like sheepskin, and something that has a comfy footbed. Budget is up to £50

Please help me Grin

This thread is slightly old now so some of the suggestions may be out of date, but if you’ve landed here looking for recommendations, we’ve recently updated our best women’s slippers page with lots of great options loved by Mumsnet users. We hope you find it useful. Flowers

Westmorland Sheepskins have a good selection. Possibly a touch more than £50 but they last ages. Gone through many pairs of cheap slippers in my feckin cold house before giving in for some more Shepherd ones.

TheChineseChicken · 08/01/2021 17:50

Moshulu are great

NaturalBigDarkBrows · 08/01/2021 17:50

I love Sheepers! Within your budget, sheepskin & lots of designs. Plus they last forever

I think they're pretty too

Thank you for both brilliant recommendations!

I second moshulu.

I only buy them now - their variety is great and hard soles make it easy to nip out to the bin without ruining your slippers.

PompomDahlia · 08/01/2021 18:26

Little over budget but they always seem to have voucher codes - I've had a couple of pairs from Celtic and Co and found them comfy and long-lasting

gerbo · 08/01/2021 18:31

No question, as a daily slipper wearer, I'd say Moshulu!

CrochetToTheMoon · 08/01/2021 18:32

Bedroom Athletics are my favourite, the Harris Tweed mules

I love Moshulu - got a new pair for Christmas 😊

TheChineseChicken · 08/01/2021 19:29

I think moshulu could do with some cooler designs, that’s my only complaint

Atalune · 08/01/2021 22:34

Lots of love for the moshulus...but I don’t love the designs.

The Celtic and Co ones are nice. Thank you guys.

Just sheepskin, you can sometimes pick them up in tkmaxx for about £30/40 ish.
They are so toasty.

Rollergirl11 · 08/01/2021 22:48

I got some sheepskin moccasins from here for Christmas. I’m loving them!

Rainbowgravy · 08/01/2021 22:49

Moshulu here as well. Got my first pair this Christmas and LOVE them!

LongIslandIcedT · 08/01/2021 22:50

I have some Sheepskin slipper boots (UGG style) from Aldi online. They are so comfy and warm, I live in them.

Hobbes8 · 08/01/2021 22:58

I just got these and I love them:

I had sheepers too before the dog got his teeth into them. Sheepers are more slipper-like but these are cosier.

SendARavenToRiverRun · 08/01/2021 23:00

I've got some Bobs by sketchers. They were about 40 pounds, have a hard sole and memory foam. Absolutely lovely. Only had them since Xmas so no idea about longevity.

damekindness · 08/01/2021 23:13

Seconding Skechers Bobs - had them for well over a year and despite daily wearing indoors and in the garden they've worn well.

Gilead · 08/01/2021 23:16

I love my sheepers, it’s currently -5, my feet are toasty and no socks.

BertBox · 08/01/2021 23:37

My Bobs are a couple of years old now and still look brand new. Only criticism I have is that they're a bit too hard-soled, and I don't like having my feet on the sofa with them on - too shoe-like!

IsItTimeForGinYet · 08/01/2021 23:38

Another vote for Celt & Co...

52andblue · 08/01/2021 23:53

Wat hinges... I need some too!

52andblue · 08/01/2021 23:53

Wat hinges ???
I typed 'watching' !!!

Atalune · 09/01/2021 12:10

I think it is between the sheepers and the Celtic and co brand. Thank you all for your recommendations.

The Bob ones Look amazing but they are too much like shoes I think and I like to stick my feet up and under my bottom on the sofa so I think I might find them too stiff
