I am on PIP, in November, I got the dreaded letter telling me I had to reapply, did so, they recieved it and have heard nothing, gave them a ring today and there is a wait for a minimum of 3 months to even get an assessment.
In the meantime, my PIP will stop next week, nothing they can do, my partner lost his job during lockdown 2, has managed to get another one, but its only casual work (still more than JSA hopefully though) and he is looking for more work still
I already cut everything I could when he lost his job, do surveys etc to try and get some extra money in.
I was hoping the government might do something to protect against this as the delay is because of the pandemic. I will write to my MP to highlight this and I know that we should be alright, but it will be tight and if need be have family I can borrow from should it get really bad.
It just feels at the moment, we recover from one thing, only to be smacked back down by the other thing.
