"There once was a girl who felt clucky
so thought about getting a puppy........

It snapped and it bit
And it did a big shit
So she traded it in for a guppy.

Apologies - that’s terrible!

'They're hard work!' said friend
'Drive you right round the bend'
So she forgot it and went for a curry

I'm sorry, but I'm stuck on my inability to accept the rhyming of "clucky" and "puppy".

Maybe it should be There once was a girl who felt blubby?

(Mind you that doesn't properly rhyme either)

Well Respectabitch, if you are going to take that line we may have to make it rather more "adult" in nature.

She wanted to marry
A man known as Harry
And he said ‘well do you feel lucky (punk)?’

She wanted a lad
Who knew how to be bad
And give her a very good ....

Ah it’s all going downhill now.....

That has definitely got potential booby but I think both of us went to a tiny bit wrong with the scansion.
