Type 1 diabetic, and corono vaccine safe?

Hi all. I work in a residential home with vulnerable people.

I am type.1 diabetic, we will be availing of the vaccine next week. I'm still in 2 minds.
From my research , I see people with autoimmune conditions such as diabetes was not part of the trial.

Any advice please

What do you think is the bigger risk, taking the vaccine or coronavirus?
I will be having the vaccine asap

my dh is type 1, 35 years, he is looking forward to getting it.
