My adult DD had the Mirena coil fitted about a month ago. Since then she's had cramps and bleeding on and off, at times heavy and incapacitating. She spoke to a GP the other day who prescribed strong pain relief and advised her to wait it out.
Tonight she is feeling faint from the pain, sweaty and unwell, very strong in her pelvis and back.
This can't be normal can it? I want her to call the GP in the morning and request to have it taken out because she has felt absolutely awful for the last month. Obviously she's grown up (25) but she really doesn't look good and I'm worried about her.
Has anyone had similar experience?
