My sister has a big birthday next week. As there can be no party we are compiling a video of birthday messages from friends and relatives.

I haven’t done my bit yet. I’m terrible with words and knowing the right or nice things to day.

Can anyone help?

She is older than me. We aren’t that close but lately have become closer because of caring for parents. I can’t really remember her in my childhood because of the age gap she was a teen by the time I was of an age to be able to play games and then to her I was a baby .

But I want to say something more than just happy birthday.

TIA

My sister's dds got us all to record messages for her bg birthday a while back.

Honestly, unless you can write a hilarious Pam Ayres style poem, you really are best just saying

"Hey sis, I bet you never expected to be celebrating your X birthday like this did you ? Hopefully it won't be long until we can all get together in person, but, until then, have a great day. Love TwoSpaniels" and raise a glass or fire off a party popper or whatever seems best to you.
