We have a slow cooker but don’t use it very often. I would love to hear your go to recipes that are easy & don’t need loads of fancy ingredients

We bought a homepride chilli sauce packet last week, it was delish. Simply mince in slow cooker, add tin of red kidney beans and chopped tomato added the chilli sauce mix stir, switch on . Eat.

There are plenty of Facebook groups if you’re willing to search or I think there’s even a category on MN.

I have a great sausage casserole one using chutney but as it comes from ‘the other side’ I dare not post it here. You could google it though Wink

Big fan of pumpkin soup in the slow cooker, with a warm loaf from the breadmaker. Super easy to put on before work.

The cost of pumpkin soup and bread for 5 people is about $2.50. 50c per head. A hearty and cheap meal.

Made the tagine tonight & it was lovely! It says 5 to 7 hours & it definitely needs nearer to the maximum time, although I think in my case it was because I cut the veg in very big chunks.
