What has happened to edam cheese?

I've not been able to buy any this year so far, in two separate supermarkets. (I wasn't just going for edam, I hasten to add!)

We buy Edamski, sliced cheese from the Polish section of the fridge

It probably bears no relation to proper Edam

This reminds me of my self-catering holiday in Krakow; brilliant Carrefour supermarkets on every corner but the only cheese they stocked was Gouda

Sliced edam is not the same!
Mysa74 not the case here as I could see on the shelf where it was meant to be, but just empty :(
Otoh o have load of sodding mini marshmallows!

In fact I ahve an unopwned bag if anyone wants them posting :D

Bought some Edam from Asda for Christmas, haven't opened it yet.

Bought some delicious Red Leicester that is almost gone; and some really bland and flavourless Cheshire too.

Edam is the devil's cheese. Plastic muck

oops i dont eat edam but my other half does and hes happy with the slices its too mild for me i like a cheese that bites back aldi does a strong somerset cheddar in the black and gold packet now thats a cheese

I want to know what's happened to mini marshmallows - my only vice. There haven't been any in the shops for a few weeks and I've tried everywhere.

I needed two bags for the kids Christmas and eventually found them in Morrisons if that helps.

M&S have them (where I am), with the baking ingredients.

@garlictwist - our local co-op stocks them in the baking section - got some this week

@garlictwist also can't find mini marshmallows, since well before Christmas. Tried every supermarket nearby (London) but no Aldi or Morrisons locally. Tesco saying they are out of stock online. Really wanted them as a hot chocolate mid afternoon home schooling treat.☹

I went to asda today and saw what you mean about mini marshmallows.i seriously have an unopened pack if anyone wants them posting :)
