5+2 weeks pregnant worrying about lack of symptoms

Just over 5 weeks pregnant and have no symptoms. I have a little bit of bloating at the end of the day. I was very burpy Blush but this seems to have settled down now. I was also having mild cramps last week but these have also stopped. I did think it was the start of sore boobs the other night as one started to get shooting pains in it, but this only lasted about an hour and then stopped. I've had a previous misscarriage and really worrying if the lack of symptoms is a sign that it is going to happen again. Is this something I should be worried about or am I worrying for no reason?!

I didn’t have any symptoms at that stage and currently have that almost 2 year old on my lap. Some people never get any symptoms!

I didn’t have symptoms till about 8 weeks x

This is so reassuring! It doesn't help I Google things and look on pregnancy sites where people are having every symptom under the sun at 4 weeks etc. I need to stop looking, but at the same time can't help it. Xx

It’s very early op. A lot of people don’t even find out they’re pregnant until after that time so I really wouldn’t worry

ShalomToYouJackie · 06/01/2021 12:18

Totally normal, I didn't have any symptoms at all until 6.5/7 weeks. Then they disappeared again at about 10 weeks (also totally normally as the placenta starts to take over so don't worry about that either).

I'm 23 weeks now

Thankyou so much ladies! I just need to step away from the phone and stop reading into things too much I think Smile Xx

Normal.

Every pregnancy I've had, no symptoms until 7/8 weeks and then BOOM. Sickness hell until the day I gave birth.

Enjoy it!

5 weeks nothing, 6 weeks I felt sick and by 7 weeks I was in hospital. I think 5 weeks is quite early to get many symptoms.

LudoTrouble · 06/01/2021 12:25

Normal!

Yep stop googling! Everyone's so different – my friend had zero symptoms in her first trimester, she genuinely thought the (many) tests she took were wrong until she saw the baby at the scan.

I think my symptoms kicked in around 6 or 7 weeks. Tbh enjoy it while it lasts, I felt great and then the vomiting began! Best of luck, it's most likely everything's fine.

SapatSea · 06/01/2021 13:38

I agree. Everyone is different. I never had any morning sickness or other symptoms beyond falling asleep a bit earlier in the evening after work with my 4. Only pregnancy tests confirmed I was pregnant. First time round I had no idea I was pregnant until I felt a flutter at a few months.

Thankyou ladies, you all really have made me feel so much better! I haven't slept for a few nights from worrying and these replies have really helped calm me down Xx
