Middle name help please!!

Hello,
I am TTC #2 and already thinking of names. I know it's a bit early to be doing so but just wanted ideas.

For a girl we love:
Elizabeth
Louisa
Helena
Lydia
Anna

For a boy:
Charles
Michael
Jonathan
Henry
Thomas

We already have a son with a very popular name beginning with J.

I'm stuck for middle names , especially for Elizabeth. It seems harder to find a middle name that 'goes' with it.
Female family names for possible middle name ideas are:
Irene
June
Jean
Kathleen
Ivy
Veronica

Male relative names
William
Thomas
John

Any of those combinations work do you think? Or any other suggestions? Thank you

Ds’s middle name is after my Dad, hardly use it though so you might be overthinking what goes with what.

Elizabeth Jean has quite a nice ring to it and most combinations of the boys names will work imo

Anna Kathleen is lovely too.

And Helena Kathleen

Go for two middle names. Its much more fun and makes it more likely that if dd gets married, the letters can spell out something silly.

Elizabeth Juliet is nice in my opinion.

I like timeless names, and I think in middle names you can go a little less common - marguerite, Verity, Rosalind or Rosamund etc.

I love Michael as a first name and would pair it with Peter or John.

Do you have to use a family name for a middle name? Why not use two from your original list of names you like? I am called Helena Elizabeth.

I've been trying so hard to make sure the names go together but as you say, you don't often use the middle one so it doesn't necessarily have to 'go' as much.

None of my children have middle names! It was hard enough thinking of their first names!

I think it's a lovely idea to use a family name as the middle name. Elizabeth Ivy has a lovely ring to it.
