Stain on chair - black pen ink

Morning!

Grrr woke up to this (see image) on a chair in my daughter's bedroom - an ink stain left by a gel ink black pen with no lid.

How do I go about removing - any bright ideas? I don't think the chair cover comes off.

Thanks Smile

Even if it’s not a slip cover, you can probably disassemble the chair and take the cover off. It probably needs a soak as a first step.

Can you post a pic of the whole chair?

Having said that, unless it’s washable pen ink, it probably wouldn’t come off. If it were my chair I would get that piece of fabric off and try a Stain Devil specifically for pen.

My DC say I’m very good with stains Grin

Thank you! Can't post full image of chair right now but it's an armchair and I don't think it's designed to come off or apart. Will look at Stain Devil thank you. We may be doomed to strategically placed cushions - it looks pretty permanent to me... Confused
