@ComDummings

Socks. So many socks but barely any actual pairs. Where the hell do they go?

Passata. I have so many in the cupboard and I don’t even know how or why.

Missing socks are one of the great paradoxes of the universe. I think they enter a rift in the space-time continuum and can’t get back. It’s the only rational explanation since the never go out alone.
Frownette · 05/01/2021 21:08

China

Ninkanink · 05/01/2021 21:09

Two more things you can never have too many of:

Books
Scarves

I have too much make up compared to how often I actually wear it.

emmetgirl · 05/01/2021 21:09

Books
Bags
And more books

Hyvsvaar · 05/01/2021 21:10

Emma bridgewater which i KNOW is super twee but every item is used, not display, and each item has a good weight to it which I like

PerveenMistry · 05/01/2021 21:14

Books probably 1,000
Bed linens - collect vintage
Christmas decor - collect vintage
Gardening supplies and seeds

Ninkanink · 05/01/2021 21:15

I have just ordered 3 EB items. 3 isn’t too many...

Lottiejack · 05/01/2021 21:15

High heels, I have approx 40 pairs. I wouldn’t mind, but I can’t wear high heels anymore. It’s flats all the way. I kid myself saying that I’m keeping them for daughter. She is 11..... Every pair reminds me of my carefree 20’s and 30’s, when I would get dressed up to go out......

Guineapigbridge · 05/01/2021 21:16

Bikes. 12 in our garage now Shock

Somanysocks · 05/01/2021 21:20

Socks, obviously.

HeyLala · 05/01/2021 21:23

50+ bikinis.
I will always wear them and intend to die in them.

Shoes.
Coats
Black trousers of every design, along with crisp white shirts!
Face creams and not buying anymore this year.

cafenoirbiscuit · 05/01/2021 21:26

Milk. DD misread my shopping list in Costco, and came back with enough to last us 3 months.

HeelsHandbagPerfumeCoffee · 05/01/2021 21:30

Haha what did you actually write as the request ?@cafenoirbiscuit

IhateBoswell · 05/01/2021 21:30

@Shehasadiamondinthesky

Wool. Craft supplies and sundry kits. Trousers, I dont wear skirts. SHOES. I double as immediately Marcus.
I had to read the last part 3 times (and only got what you must mean because my mum often calls it my sister) 😂
MirandaMarple · 05/01/2021 21:32

Teaspoons
Tealights
Spices and herbs
Cookbooks
Winter coats

RoosterTheRoost · 05/01/2021 21:33

I don’t consider my 2000(ish) books a “ridiculous amount” now that we’ve got more bookshelves. When they were piled on the floor in every room it was a little bit ridiculous.

OliveHenry · 05/01/2021 21:38

Forgot to mention drinking glasses..... oops.

To the poster who asked - 9 pairs of Dr Martens is barely adequate, so you probably need more!

jambeforeclottedcream · 05/01/2021 21:42

Scarves - 20
Nail varnish -50 + colours
Thimbles - 150 ish

whereisthejoy · 05/01/2021 21:46

Essential oils- 70+ and rising
Craft stuff - I have a huge box of yarn I've hardly tapped into yet!

Also pasta and pulses, I have 1 cupboard dedicated to just them

Sittingonthecockofagay · 05/01/2021 21:49

Lipstick. At least 50. Buy them and then they end up being roughly all the same shade of coral.

polkadotpixie · 05/01/2021 21:50

Yankee Candle wax tarts - 800+
Nail Polish - 100+
Shoes - 40ish...I did have over 100 but sold a lot on eBay

PrettyPansies · 05/01/2021 21:51

Nail varnish. I've just counted - 200 bottles 😏 ridiculous considering I can't have it on at work and I barely use it.

Ltdannygreen · 05/01/2021 21:52

Socks, I have a bag (sainsburys bag for life) of new socks, every time I go shopping if I see socks I’ll get new ones. I don’t have double of any. When a pair gets a hole I get a new pair out. I also have far too many monopoly’s, we have around 14 different monopoly’s.

VetOnCall · 05/01/2021 21:52
