School starts tomorrow.. or does it?

I'm not cleaning the horrible things unless he's actually going.. Im putting it off for a few hours.

The idea of more full-time work mixed with the delights of home education / distance learning is not appealing.. on the other hand not having to clean the football boots would be some minor compensation I suppose Hmm )

If he’s over the age of 8 he clean his own boots surely?

MrsMiaWallis · 04/01/2021 16:47

Nah, just bang the worst bits off when they dry and buy a new pair when they start smelling of cat piss.

Almostslimjim · 04/01/2021 16:48

Nope. If he's old enough to need them, he's old enough to clean them himself!

Bang the worst off and send him in with them regardless

FlibbertyGiblets · 04/01/2021 16:52

God yes bang them. Over the lawn not the path or you'll have the clods return to mud and track them back in the house (or was that just me?!)

oigetoffmycheese · 04/01/2021 17:38

Get him to bang them off once they have dried a bit. I also find leaving them outside (if it's not raining) helps to get rid of any smells too.

But agree, bang over the grass/gravel/bin areas. Or it comes straight back in the house.

4 lots of muddy boots here Sad

infinitediamonds · 04/01/2021 17:46

Get him a boot buddy and make him do it himself.

empiricallyyours · 04/01/2021 17:49

Seriously, don't do it...he wears them dirty or cleans them himself.

How old is he OP?

barebetty · 04/01/2021 17:56

I'm not sure this thread is actually about football boots 🤔

OP is with you. I just cannot be arsed to start pissing about with uniforms and shoe sorting as they won't be going back will they?

listsandbudgets · 04/01/2021 21:34

Barebetty has it.. glad I didn't bother now.

This is a shit show.. I hate distance learning and so do.the children
