With a winter lockdown on the cards, I think Dd's new kindle fire will be very handy! What are the winning apps and games we need? Have Dd age 6 in yr1 and ds age 3.5. I'm not necessarily asking for educational apps, more engaging games I think. Don't know where to start...

Teach your Monster to read.
It taught my monster to read.

Thank you! We've got that one, along with other more educational apps like eggy words, hairy phonics, doodle maths etc. I really like teach your monster, but my 3yo likes it more than my 6yo!

I'm thinking more along the lines of an involving game. Or something with problem solving. Something a bit more immersive. Or just plain funny.

I second teach monster to read my DS6 loved it.
He also enjoys numbots as he likes to earn the robot pieces.

We have coding safari (not sure if it’s a paid app) but that is a good problem solving one. He has just started to enjoy minecraft which we keep on build mode he has found the coding on that fun and just enjoys building houses and chasing his dad round the land.

6 year old might like Kings and Queens (thinkrolls) - it’s a problem solving game.

Following. We have a six and seven year old and they got kindles too

I wouldn't download roblox unless you are going to be heavily supervising it.

Scratch Jr and daisy dino are good for early coding....not sure if they work on Kindle though

Unfortunately I can't seem to find most of these. Not getting on with the format of this kindle fire at all... Managed to sort Kings and Queens.

A lot of apps aren't compatible with Kindle Fire.
