Touch on/off lamp that you can touch at the top?

Relative has old fashioned glass domed touch lights that have the metal at the top so you can reach and touch the top to turn on/off. I’ve been looking for ages for similar lights but more modern. Basically touch on/off bedside lamps that you can touch the top of rather than the base? Do these exist? To save me knocking over everything on the bedside cabinet trying to get to the base

Mine have a base like this and you can touch it anywhere - it works amongst all the crap on my bedside table, especially as the lamp is on the edge closes to the bad.

Not very modern but you might find. Modern base that is touch sensitive all the way up.

Thanks, I’m trying to find something like a modern version of this one which they had. You could touch anywhere on the top of the lamp so easy to work.

Wonder would the range or Dunelm or Argos have anything suitable?

This one has a metal piece at the top of the shade. One review says you just touch the top to turn it on/off. Might be a bit tall though (27cm). Also comes with European plug.

Thanks @BambooWhoosh looks better but ideally want a bigger target area to hit in the dark!

@Honeywort they don’t seem to have a great selection in, understand everywhere is on a reduced production
