Well, after getting brilliant advice from Mumsnet recently which solved a problem my husband has had for years, I though i would test your knowledge again, this time for me. On and off now for years I get a problem with one of my ears. Behind my ear on the boney part I get the most terrific pain I have ever experienced. My husband has had a look when it happens and most of the time all he can see is red marks, almost like broken veins. This can last an hour or two or like yesterday, it lasted all day. I have mentioned it to my Doctor, but like everything, unless i can go when it actually happens, , there is nothing he can do. It is even painful to sleep on that side because of the pain. I just wondered if anyone had ever experienced this and may know what it is.
