My son found this game board in a box of stuff from MIL but but no one knows what it is!! He wants to try playing it.. does anyone know what it is so I can Google instructions please?

I did a reverse image search and it brought up Chinese games.

Its actually quite easy to play.. or so U thought. Hes beaten me 3 times so far.. the shame of constant losses to an 8 year old
