So...it’s 11:30pm and no one has confirmed if I’m in work tomorrow. My role is pastoral in a tier 3 high school.
On Friday the head said all staff to work from home tomorrow. I’m due on a home visit with a social worker so emailed my boss to ask what to do.
On Saturday my bosses boss emailed all pastoral staff to ask us to make lists of students who may need food parcels etc. Asked for a zoom at 4pm (so assumed I was working from home). I emailed him to ask if I was still doing the visit. He said it was up to my boss.
This morning - head teacher emails to ask ten of us to come and be trained in helping students self-test when they’re back in. Training is the same time as the home visit.
10pm my boss emails to ask “are you not in tomorrow? Do the visit if you’re in or if not someone else can”. I emailed back to ask if I was doing the visit or the training, and if he was expecting me at 8am (his tone seemed surprised I wasn’t there)
So now I don’t know if I’m expected in at 8am like usual, or at 11am for either training or the home visit.
