Best supplement for tiredness?

I am Constantly tired and am finding it hard to function at the moment. I have always needed 8/9 hours sleep at night to function well, but even with that I’m exhausted at the moment.

I had major surgery just over a year ago which took a long time to recover from. Just as I was recovering we went into lockdown and I haven’t felt great since really.

Fortunately I have commitments that mean I have to get out of bed and function as an adult. Left to my own devices I think I would just sleep!

I should probably speak to my doctor, but I think it’s just everything that’s happened in the last 12 months having an impact. We have just had a period when we had to self isolate which hasn’t helped.

I have improved my diet and am doing more exercise, but I don’t feel any better. Can anyone recommend a supplement to help? Everything is such hard work at the moment!

I think you should speak to the drs.

speak to the dr
vit d3, b12 and iron deficiency can cause tiredness, but there could be other reasons (thyroid) as well.

I’ve just ordered myself this: www.healthspan.co.uk/shop/high-strength-vitamin-b-complex/120-tablets/

I feel exactly the same as you. Hoping these will help a bit, along with eating better and getting more exercise.

I am also taking B12 plus complex and D with K. Was taking Nexium on and off and felt better as soon as I stopped it and went back on the vitamins.

B complex is good, covers more bases.

Magnesium is something that most people of deficient in along with Vitamin B12 and Vitamin D. Also what is your water intake like?

Dorisdaydream2 · 07/01/2021 09:25

Thank you everyone. I’m off to get some decent vitamins. My water intake is really poor. I drink a lot of tea but I’m not sure that counts.

Magnesium before bed will help with sleep. Iron also helps. I think Ferrogloblin might have B12 in it?
