Bleeding - sex toy, help?!

Totally posting for traffic.

Brought myself some penguin shaped clitoral stimulator that was highly reccommended by several friends. Used it today and am now bleeding fresh red blood from my urethra area (maybe half a tea spoon in three hours, enough to be wearing a pad). It's not like a lot a lot, but it's noticeable - spotting ish, but very evident when wiping.

Has anyone else experienced this please, and if so did it just clear up on it's own?

Penguin shaped because I guess they've done something fancy for christmas with the design rather than I have some clitoral penguin fetish going on - and it was the reccommended one.

Used per instructions, with lube, and only once.

I can't see anything on the outside like a graze but it look a bit swollen.

I guess my question is, has anyone been through this before? Is it normal? It's been a while since I have had any kind of action...

Fresh red suggests fresh cut. Probably a nail scratch or a graze from the toy. Possible if it’s plastic because they can have bits that might be sharp but not obviously so.

Just drink a bit more (if your urethra is irritated then more dilute pee will be less uncomfortable) and rinse with water after peeing to stop irritation. Obvs if it carries on call GP in the morning 😬

You sure you're bleeding from your urethra? Warm salty bath, plenty of fluids, and seek medical attention if you carry on bleeding. 111 won't be judgmental and can get you an out of hours appointment.

Well, odds are it's trauma of some description, OP. I see no reason you'd need to seek medical advice for it though- if it's a cut or graze (or perhaps a slight internal injury from excessive suction, if it's a suction one) it'll heal itself. I don't know what PP would expect a doctor to do about it.

Last time I bled from there it was the result of a tear in childbirth. Too small to need stitches, the advice was just to drink lots and let my body do its thing.

I would lay off Pingu though, OP, if I were you.

It will likely resolve itself in a day or two. Keep an eye for signs of infection, but otherwise I'm sure you're fine. Perhaps ruptured a small blood vessel or scratched yourself somehow. No need for medical attention unless it's a lot of blood, you suddenly can't pee, or you develop signs of infection (heat, increased pain, swelling, discharge that smells bad or looks like pus, fever, feeling unwell).

Hope it resolves soon. Salt bath or cold compress in the meantime?

I have the same kind of thing - satisfyer pro 2 mine is but same thing...I think you’ve placed it too low so it was ‘doing it’s magic’ so to speak on your urethra rather than clit. Did it feel a little sore while you were using it?

To add - keep an eye on the bleeding. I imagine it will heal it’s self but watch out in case of UTI!

I only just got over a monster kidney infection four weeks ago so I think that freaked me out in case I have retriggered it, but there's no way I could have done in two hours! Even the bugs in my body don't travel that fast!

Will go and have a salt bath now, good plan.

Pingu is banned for a while, I am actually really gutted it's ended like this though :(

@WhatsErFace2020 No pain when using it at all, it just didn't feel as good as the reviews I was getting, so maybe you are right, but definitely no pain.

With any luck OP it could just be a flare up of the original infection you’re linking to poor Pingu 🐧

Give it a break for now and seek medical help if any pain persists, then be sure to give pingu another chance 🤡

I had to Google and the one I’ve found (Satisfyer) has a little plastic bow-tie. Does yours and, if so, could you have nicked yourself with it?

I don't think so - the bow tie is not really in the right area to cause any damage.
