Worried about my "crisis" of the decade

I guess I'm just looking for a grip by writing this thread.

Every ten years throughout my life, a crisis has happened. When I was born, I was put into the care system after being removed from my birth mother. When I was 10/11 I had a sort of emotional "breakdown" due to being bullied by a teacher.

At 20/21 I was involved with a guy at uni who ended up being sectioned.

At 30/31 my partner passed away after a short but traumatic illness.

I'm 40 in two months time, and am starting to worry. I fear the next "crisis" may have something to do with trying for a second child, which we're planning.

Please tell me I'm being a superstitious idiot!!

Hav a lovely birthday. You're living through a pandemic - you've had it! It was just a little earlier than expected.

And so sorry for everything you've been through.

Thank you, Stealth! It sounds insensitive to say I hope Covid is my crisis of this decade, but it is sort of comforting to think it might be.
